Hi, I'm Lyzz
Music has been my primary mode of expression since I can remember making sound. It is the means by which I found my voice, the way I express my identity, and the medium I use to share my unique story. I want to help you explore your story musically, to let music inspire you and spur your creativity the way it has for me.
After receiving my Bachelor's in Songwriting from Berklee College of Music I received my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Music Therapy at Lesley University. While pursuing my education, I continued teaching music lessons, performing, and working at two clinical internships, building my musical and therapeutic identity, and discovering who I am most passionate about working with.

I am a relational and music-centered therapist; I believe growth happens when both client and therapist engage authentically with each other and their music. I seek to create a safe and non-judgmental space where I can meet my clients where they are and allow their creative, whole selves to shine through. I am honored to be able to hold this space and provide empathy and support for the people I work with, whatever they might be going through.

I bring this belief in the power of authentic relationships people can form with one another and with music to my teaching and performing. When teaching, I work to provide my students with and experience which will empower them to love, enjoy, and create music for a lifetime. I particularly enjoy providing music for events like wedding ceremonies, anniversaries, memorials, and any event that allows me to create an atmosphere of intimate connection for others.
